Having spent time in this area with the people of Hartley Bay and being exposed to their culture and traditional lands, Norm understands that should a tanker leak or sink, this area would be destroyed forever. Read on to find out more about Norm's upcoming paddle. Pacific Wild, First Ascent and Surftech have all come on board to support him on his journey!
Beginning on May 3rd, 2010 and corresponding with the annual Pacific Salmon migration, Norm Hann will be paddling the proposed North Coast Oil Tanker Route through the Great Bear Rainforest and the traditional harvesting lands of the Coastal First Nations on his Surftech standup paddleboard.
