Last Blog of 2011

It's almost hard to re-cap a year when I am already thinking forward and getting excited for 2012. However, I have to look back on my past year as being a successful one. So much happened, so many challenges undertaken, I succeeded, I failed, I learned and overall, it was one hell of a great year! I'm not sure if I can actually write up a blog that will describe it all so I'm going to write this one a bit differently and try to do a highlighted version. My athletic endeavors were interwoven into my personal life and the way the year played out required me to make decisions and strive to finally achieve some balance in my life. I learned quickly that I couldn't stand on every start line or compete 24/7 as I had in the past. There needed to be some give and take and this is a focus that I enter 2012 into with once again. So...let's get into it:
