2020 is Your Year for 25K!

Congratulations!

Why you ask?

Well, you wouldn't be reading this post if you hadn't made it this far in your running journey.

Even better? You're probably ready to take on more distance!
Lucky for you,  I’ve just launched my brand new 25km program here at JenSegger Endurance Coaching, and I’m beyond excited to tell you about it.

The 25km program is designed for:

  • Those wanting a transition - you've already reached your personal 10km mark and want to take it a few steps further (literally)

  • Those who have already run a similar distance (to 25km) but feel the need for a better training and performance foundation

The objective of this new program is to help you build towards 25km with stamina, strength, and of course, fun.

We’ll cover the following topics together:

  • Strength training to support your running

  • Nutrition to support your efforts and keep your body safe

  • The best methods for injury prevention

  • How to develop a strong mental game for race day

Benefits of this course are:

  • In-detail, progressive training concepts

  • A holistic approach to strength, mobility, injury prevention, nutrition, goal setting, attitude, and mindset

  • Daily ins-and-outs of training to guide the entire process

This is my favourite program yet. It’s a brave but tangible jumping-off point for anyone who’s always wanted to do long-distance trail running but wasn’t sure if they were ready yet. Well guess what, you are!

I’ve helped hundreds of runners achieve their goals and test their limits safely, strategically and dynamically. With your ambition and my experience, I know you’ll succeed!

There’s a bunch of things that make my programs so effective, but at the end of the day, it’s your goal to achieve.

Here’s some key factors for success in the 25km program:

  1. Be patient with yourself - You’ll be learning new methods, a new schedule and adapting to the demands of training. Remember that this learning and the new habits you’ll develop will take time to come to fruition.

  2. Participate in the Facebook group -  Our “go to” place where it’s encouraged to ask questions, engage in group discussions, and offer positive support. It’s a community where you can learn and get to know your fellow runners and what they each bring to the group.

  3. Use Our FAQs section - A list of commonly asked questions to supplement your learning. Helpful throughout the entire course!

  4. Commit to the process - Your journey to 25km readiness or endurance development is going to take time. Remembering,it is what you do daily that yields results. Consistency and quality are the keys to training success. Set aside 6 hours a week for your first 4 weeks of training.

  5. Do your best - Life happens (to all of us!) and asking yourself to give your best effort on a daily basis is how you can. After all, your running journey is personal and operating with this in mind is the absolute best option for your health and fulfillment.

That’s it. You now have all you need in order to take the first steps toward your biggest running achievement yet. Join a community of driven and engaged runners, including myself, as we tackle each of our personal journeys, together.
