COVID-19 And Us: A Time of Adaptation

It’s an interesting time, to say the least - with uncertainty halting some of our key routines and activities, it’s understandable to be craving a “foundation.”

Social distancing doesn’t mean stagnation.

Luckily, one of the areas of life COVID-19 hasn’t touched is our ability to get outside and be active for those who are blessed to be healthy. In fact, with the current closures of many gym facilities, trails are one of few options for getting out of the house and exercising our legs...but we’re not complaining!

The fact is, the fresh air of your nearest remote running spot combined with the right exercise can work wonders for our body – and most importantly at the moment – our immune system, giving it a fighting chance during this challenging period..

If you’re needing that extra “push” to get out the door or are looking for leveridge to up your running game, consider this an engaging and responsible doorway to growth.

I’m stoked that I have 25km and 50km online training programs that are designed for remote, solo training and are ideal for Spring weather. This could be a perfect opportunity for progressing towards your running goals, away from others. I designed these programs specifically to provide intensive and rewarding insight for everyone ranging from beginner to intermediate.

Even for those who aren’t directly affected by Coronavirus, social distancing can be an emotionally exhaustive exercise, with serious mental health impacts. It’s more important than ever to embrace your goals and focus on self-development. To help everyone in this endeavour, I’m excited to be offering $75 off both my 25K and 50K online programs until April 15!

So, let’s join forces in maintaining our distance, being proactive with our health and wellness, and coming out of these circumstances stronger than when we went in!
