Jen has been coaching athletes of all levels around the globe for over a decade. Through a personalized approach, her athletes compete, participate and achieve top results in ultra running, mountaineering, triathlons, mountain bike races, road cycling, standup paddle boarding and adventure races.

For well over a decade, Jen has been working with athletes of all levels, from the total newbie to the elite. Her athletes are located all over North America, Europe, Australia and Africa. Sought out for her expertise in endurance training protocols, Jen has become a leader in the coaching industry. In addition to the individualized training plans that Jen writes, her athletes receive guidance in sport specific nutrition as it relates to meeting the demands and stress of training. She is also a certified strength & conditioning coach who highly encourages the application of a well rounded pre-hab, mobility and progressive strength plan that is specific to each person. More recently, Jen has found a new niche within the coaching realm, that being working with female athletes to ensure happy hormones as they journey along their path in the endurance world.

For nearly 10 years Jen owned a high performance training center in Squamish, BC to cater to the active outdoor population in the Sea to Sky Corridor. When she eventually closed the doors to her gym “Challenge by Choice” she continued to run an indoor cycling studio to give the many cyclists in her town a quality place to train during the long Winters. The facility changed hands in 2019 but Jen remains actively involved as a coach. She is available for lactate testing as well as body composition analysis.

As a passion project, Jen launched RunBC Adventures in 2018. Through this endeavour, Jen guides a variety of multiday day trail running and fastpacking trips all over British Columbia and globally. She is a certified ACMG guide who loves spending time connecting other runners to their environment through challenging adventures in wild places.
