“Working with Jill has been great. I knew what to do and all the ins and outs of metabolism and nutrition I just never put it together for myself. I need someone else to back me up and help with what I needed adjusting and kick it all in to gear. And Jill was the key! So simple yet so effective. I feel great, I’ve dropped weight and body fat all while fueling and hitting all my workouts and increasing lifts in the gym. I mean if that’s not an ideal scenario I don’t know what is!” MARY FOSTER - Elite American Adventure Racer

Do you struggle with fueling to support your training correctly? Did you go into your last race with a solid nutrition and hydration plan? Do you want to shed extra body fat while ensuring you maintain lean muscle mass and avoid under fueling and hormone disruption? There are some of the very common concerns that we hear from people! Allow Jill to assist you with her expertise in sport performance and nutrition, leaving nothing on the table or to chance!

Jillian Mooney - Sport Performance Nutritionist

Jill’s message to YOU:

If there's one thing I want you to know about me it's this, I am a person you want on your team if you're considering a personal performance challenge or if you are competing for a podium.

Let's face it, nutrition (especially endurance nutrition) is often the missing link and once you dial it in you'll be off and running, cycling, adventure racing or whatever turns your crank.

I like a challenge. If you feel deep inside that you're capable of 'more'. I listen for that because I know beyond a shadow of a doubt - if you feel you are capable of 'more', you are.
Let's get you eating, fueling and recovering so you can go and achieve, well….more!

I have a Master’s in Nutrition from Bastyr university (Seattle), a Bachelor’s in Sports Science from Newcastle University and I am a certified life coach.

My partner in life and business is Joe Barr. Go and check him out, he's a pretty incredible human being and ultra cyclist. He continually challenges cultural (including mine!) assumptions around age and performance.

I crew for him when he races, which means I am pretty good at going on 1-2 hours of sleep for up to 12 days and nights. When I'm not racing, trust me I sleep a lot!

The only other times that I have sleepless nights are the nights when I know that my clients are out there, performing on their own edge. I anxiously follow their GPS tracker or wait for the email that tells me how they did and how freaking proud they are to be at the finish line! I especially love it when they send me a picture and I see the deep grooves of effort etched into their faces. I know how hard they worked to get them.

WORK WITH JILL! LEARN FROM JILL!

When you get me, you get me from the minute we get started to the minute you cross your finish line.

You should know that I am also known as'The Gut Whisperer'. Ultra endurance, whatever the discipline, challenges the most resilient of digestive systems.

Fuelling over distance is an art and a science and I'm good at both. I’ve been in the endurance sphere now for nearly 10 years. I do use continuous glucose monitors where appropriate and have found them to deliver valuable data.

When we work together you can expect a simple paperwork package followed by a 60-90 min consult over ZOOM (I live in Ireland).

Within 3 days you’ll get your first STARTER plans, which will include a general nutrition plan aimed at building your nutritional resilience, a fuelling plan and a recovery plan plus unlimited contact via instant messaging.

You’ll have questions and I will deliver answers in real time (depending on time zones). I will also want you to message me feedback, observations, etc. After all, your metabolism is unique and how you respond to small changes will tell me a lot. The clients that do the best are the ones that provide this level of feedback.

We do a lot of the heavy lifting in the first month such as laying down the infrastructure of a performance nutrition plan. We refine and adjust during month 2 & 3. Performance bodies tend to adjust quickly so we’ll follow what’s happening during training and racing and flow alongside it.

At the end of month 3 you’ll be up and on your way with confidence. Many of my clients pop back pre-race and we draft a specific race fuel plan. Of course, endurance races don’t go to plan but it’s worth having a plan that is flexible and still adheres to general principles.

I’m delighted to be teaming up with Jen. We are kindred spirits and dedicated to delivering our best so you can go and deliver yours!
